Light cleaning
- 3 fluid ounces. Medium cleaning - 5 fluid ounces. Heavy cleaning
- 8 fluid ounces. One gallon of diluted solution will clean approximately
300 square feet.
APPLICATION: SafeChoice Carpet Shampoo should be applied using
a hand-held pump sprayer. One similar to a garden sprayer is most
effective. Prior to application vacuum carpet thoroughly. Spray
the carpet evenly, saturating the surface. Use the dilution recommended
below. Allow the shampoo ten minutes to fully penetrate. Then
extract the shampoo with very clean, very hot water. By extracting
with only clean, hot water the carpet is not only cleaned more
effectively but the removal of residue from prior cleanings is
accomplished. While the foregoing procedure yields the best results,
SafeChoice Carpet Shampoo may also if desired be added to any
shampooing or carpet cleaning machine.Spot test carpet in an inconspicuous location for color
fastness and compatibility. When using carpet products it is advisable
to put small squares of aluminum foil under the furniture legs
until carpet is thoroughly dry.

Use non toxic, odorless SafeChoice Carpet Shampoo. Follow technical data sheet for use. Immediately after shampooing apply SafeChoice
Carpet Seal liberally but evenly (while carpet is still damp)
using a hand-held pump sprayer (similar to a garden-type sprayer).
Do not over saturate. SafeChoice Carpet Seal cannot be used on
a dry carpet. Work SafeChoice Carpet Seal into the fibers with
a rotary brush, polishing machine or clean garage broom, just
enough to assure complete and uniform contact.

UPON

Even coverage and wiping surface is essential. When SafeChoice
Carpet Seal is to be applied to a carpet not just immediately
cleaned, prior to application be sure to dampen carpet with clear
water using a hand-held pump sprayer. The drying and curing process
may be accelerated by using conventional heating methods. Do not
permit traffic on the carpet until dry to touch. Periodic carpet
shampooing may be performed as required. Before
using SafeChoice Carpet Guard the first time, test in small inconspicuous
areas to confirm compatibility and color fastness. One gallon
of SafeChoice Carpet Seal covers approximately 300 square feet
for medium to tight weave carpet. Rinse with clear water to clean
brushes after use
DRYING/CURING
TIME: In moderate temperatures and humidity four to six hours
to the touch - total cure time twenty-four hours. Cool temperatures
and/or high humidity may increase drying time.
LIMITATIONS: Not recommended for wool or velour carpet
It is very important to cloth wipe the top of the carpet fiber
after application to prevent formation of white film upon drying.
Do not permit traffic on the carpet until dry to the touch. Always
spot test carpet on inconspicuous locations for color fastness
and compatibility. When using carpet products it is advisable
to put small squares of aluminum foil under furniture legs until
carpet is thoroughly dry.
HEALTH PRECAUTIONS: As with all cleaning products, keep container
tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not ingest.
If swallowed, drink two (2) glasses of water to dilute. In case
of eye contact, flush immediately with plenty of water for 15
minutes. If you are chemically sensitive, always test for personal
tolerance

Carpet should be vacuumed and cleaned using SafeChoice Carpet
Shampoo to remove, as much as possible, the petrochemical residue
from the fibers. After cleaning, seal carpet with SafeChoice Carpet
Seal, then allow the carpet to dry thoroughly before proceeding
with application of SafeChoice Lock Out.
For old carpeting follow the same procedure of vacuuming and
cleaning with SafeChoice Carpet Shampoo. For carpets exceeding
four years in age use of SafeChoice Carpet Seal may be optional.
Carpet must
be completely dry whether or not SafeChoice Carpet Seal is required.
Using a hand-held
